ABOUT ‘TIS YOGA

What makes the Yin practice at TIS YOGA a little different?

TIS YOGA for you - YIN YOGA MUSIC

At TIS Yoga, music plays a crucial role in the practice of quiet power. This includes thoughtfully selected pieces, live hand drums, and calming vocals. Our goal is to provide an uplifting experience that soothes the body, improves mental concentration, and elevates the spirit.

By unlocking our body's deeper layers, we can achieve a sense of restoration and balance. Similarly, tapping into the deeper layers of our heart can bring about a profound feeling of inner peace.

Finding new ways to cultivate stillness and greater awareness in my life has become a driving force in these challenging times. When I began seeking a better work life balance from the busy corporate world, I was drawn to yoga for both it’s sustainable physical and meditative qualities.

TIS YOGA for you - YIN YOGA

My Journey

After my first yoga class, I remember a feeling of deep confirmation that “this yoga was for me” and I literally skipped home. When I discovered Yin Yoga, every aspect of it resonated deeply with me, and I quickly fell in love with the practice. It became a refuge where I could relax and restore harmony within my mind and body. This practice not only enhanced my mobility but also helped me awaken and reconnect with my inner sanctuary of awareness.

Over the years, I’ve learned to trust these gentle inner whispers. My desire to pursue teaching was compelled by a yearning to merge both my love for music with my passion for yoga to help others decompress by bringing relaxation and tranquillity into people's lives.
